Carnival of Venice...well ok, Wirksworth.

Once again Kal's Kats rolled into Wirksworth Town Hall to play a great afternoon of swing dancing for the lovely folks attending the Wirksworth Carnival - started off a bit barren since folks were all outside enjoying the sun and the stalls. However, we had a cunning plan; all the windows were open and then they started to flock upstairs to come and see us. we taught them the Charleston stroll since that is such an easy winner to get folks going and then the joint was jumpin'. Lovely to see a ladies choir group up from Warwick who then came to the stage toking a few of their tunes. What a lovely afternoon and tomorrow we do it all again at Nuneaton Swing dance.
